An accident or something scary could have happened trapping fear in the body.
Even good and wonderful things could be a trigger for stress.
When our systems aren’t soothed, when what our body perceives as a threat doesn’t seem to go away, the stress level becomes more long term leading to many symptoms you may have identified with.
